This tour will make you get to know one of the Paraguay’s biggest enthusiast: the Swiss scientist Moisés Bertoni, who dedicated his life to experiences on the Paraná’s riverside. For you to get to the museum, the researcher’s former residence, you’ll have to take a 40-minute-boat-trip.
When you get to the Paraguayan border, there’s a short hiking trail to the house, transformed in museum. It keeps some of his studies and experiments, like the Paraguay’s rain calendar, which helped (a lot!) when constructing the Friendship Bridge and the Itaipu Dam, as well as discovering the Stevia herb, a natural sweetener.
